DIGITAL VIDEO CAMP: June 13-17

This year, once again, we will offer the Sonoma County Office of Education’s Middle School Video Camp once again.  The week is always a highlight of the summer for many HJH students.  The camp will run for one week (June 13-17) from 9:00am-12:00pm daily.  The week ends on Friday at 11:00am with a screening of all films created during the week.  Parents are invited to attend.

During the course of the program students will learn how to plan out a video production, camera techniques and will learn how to use Final Cut Pro, which is the software use to produce many of the television shows that you enjoy.

YEAR END REPORT

Well, believe it or not we’ve completed another school year. We’ve made some great steps forward in our Digital video Program this year. We’ve just finished our second year as an Authorized Apple Training Center for Education and have 6 students who are ready to take the certification exam this month.  Over the course of this year we’ve had over 100 students go through the Digital Video Program.  We are looking forward to next year with a lot of anticipation.  We will have an expanded Advanced Class with more students than we have ever had before and will continue to serve the school and community with new and interesting “happenings” here at HUSD..  Have a great summer….
